«Derweze» Power Plant, Ahal Province, Turkmenistan
General Project Information:
As part of the development of the energy infrastructure of the «Derweze» Power Plant, a power supply system was implemented for a separate diesel station, comprising a 10/0.4 kV, 400 kVA transformer substation and a 10 kV overhead transmission line.
The system provides voltage transformation from 10 kV to 0.4 kV and supplies power to the equipment and auxiliary systems of the diesel station.

Scope of Work:
The project included civil, electrical installation, and commissioning works for the power supply system of the diesel station, comprising a 10/0.4 kV, 400 kVA transformer substation and a 10 kV overhead transmission line.
10/0.4 kV Transformer Substation:
- Installation of the transformer substation with a 400 kVA power transformer;
- Installation and connection of 10 kV and 0.4 kV distribution equipment;
- Laying and connection of 0.4 kV cable lines;
- Electrical connections and installation of the grounding system.
10 kV Overhead Transmission Line:
- Preparation of the line route and installation of 10 kV line poles;
- Installation of insulators and line fittings;
- Installation of conductors and connection of the 10 kV line to the power supply system.
Testing and Commissioning:
- Testing of the power transformer and installed electrical equipment;
- Inspection of cable and electrical connections and the grounding system;
- Commissioning works;
- Preparation of the power supply system for operation.
